Panel discussion
We will talk about the difficulties of storing film footage and the various options for long-term storage. We will also touch on the significance and entertainment value of private film material. When can we speak of «homosexual realities» shown in this material, and how about undiscovered footage in Swiss archives?
Kevin Einiger (presenter) works as research staff member for the independent expert committee «Administrative Versorgung» («Administrative Care») and is president of the Gay Archives Switzerland society.
Gabriel Baur is filmmaker and co-founder of Onix Film. 2002 was released her internationally acclaimed documentary «Venus Boyz». At the moment she's working on a new project, a documentary about Lady Shiva, restoring archive material from concerts of Lady Shiva from the 80's.
Stefan Länzlinger is a historian. He is head of the archives department of the Swiss Social Archives in Zurich. He mainly takes care of audiovisual records.
Christoph Stuehn is the director of the Memoriav Society, which aims to preserve, valorise and utilize audiovisual cultural assets in Switzerland.
